Introduction

What is 'good' leadership? How can you learn to 'lead well'?

'Leadership' is not a major subject - at best a minor subject in university studies. Nevertheless, leadership is a key factor for success in professional life.
Anyone pursuing a career and taking on a leadership role faces a "learning-by-doing" process. One relies on more or less good role models and experiences.

This online leadership course supports you in developing your own principles of good leadership alongside your professional routine by reflecting on leadership impulses and everyday-relevant leadership questions chapter by chapter. Between each chapter, you have time to apply your ideas in everyday life.

Goal of this Leadership Training

This online leadership training aims to provide inspiration and impulses for excellent leadership. By engaging with the principles of good leadership and answering the collected questions in each chapter, you will gradually develop a comprehensive understanding of leadership.

At the end, you will create your leadership standpoint: Your summary of what outstanding leadership means to you and how you will achieve it in your everyday leadership practice.

Origin

This online course is the result of over 25 years of accumulated experiences and inspirations. Coaching sessions, leadership training, and countless conversations with leaders across various industries and hierarchy levels have gradually formed the essence of good leadership. We want to make this accessible to you here.

This online training invites you to engage in intensive reflection. We provide the relevant questions, and you develop your own answers to them.

Scientific Sources

This online leadership training incorporates over 50 sources. We have linked the scientific studies in the text or provide them as PDFs for download. The primary references include the Goal Setting Theory by Latham and Locke, as well as Transformational Leadership by Bass and Avolio. Both concepts are extensively researched and align with current insights. It is now well understood how leaders can either hinder or foster employee motivation - or better yet, inspiration. Through this online training, you will gradually develop aspects of transformational leadership that you can apply immediately and quickly see the impact on your employees' intrinsic motivation. You will be able to convey meaning and purpose, clearly illustrating why it's worthwhile to invest time and energy.
